Actor Lee Jang Woo revealed that he went into a state of confusion after hearing news of Hahm Eun Jung's marriage, whom he once partnered with as a virtual couple on MBC's 'We Got Married' back in 2011.
On November 16 KST, a video titled "We got (separately) married (feat. friendship couple Lee Jang Woo)" was posted on Hahm Eun Jung's YouTube channel. Hahm Eun Jung and Lee Jang Woo reunited after a long time to congratulate each other on their upcoming marriages.
Lee Jang Woo told Hahm Eun Jung, "My mom is the one who told me you were getting married. I was working, and suddenly she said, 'Hey! Eun Jung is getting married.' So I told her, 'Mom, no. She's busy filming a drama right now.'"
He continued, "You and the director didn’t even seem to match well at first, so I thought it was a false report. I kept wondering, 'Is she pregnant? Why would she suddenly get married now? Mom, I think Eun Jung might be pregnant.' Even when you said no, I doubted it for a long time."
Hearing this, Hahm Eun Jung burst into laughter and said, "That blessing hasn’t come to me yet."
She added, "Starting next week until July next year, I have to film my drama. I couldn’t delay it, so I had to get married this year. The drama team was in chaos too. And if I plan on having a child, they told me I should get married sooner. I was born in 1988, so it’s considered an older age for pregnancy."
In related news, Hahm Eun Jung will hold her wedding with director Kim Byung Woo on November 30. Director Kim Byung Woo has directed films such as 'The Terror Live' and 'Take Point'. He is also preparing for the release of the Netflix series 'The Great Flood' on December 19.
Meanwhile, Lee Jang Woo will marry actress Jo Hye Won on November 23, after eight years of dating.
