EJAE, the singer-songwriter behind the Netflix animated feature 'K-pop Demon Hunters', celebrated after the film’s OST track 'GOLDEN' landed five nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, including 'Song of the Year'.

On Nov. 8, 2025 KST, EJAE wrote on social media: "Omg… I don’t even have the adjectives to describe how I’m feeling. This is beyond anything I ever imagined, being nominated for a Grammy… nevermind SONG OF THE YEAR!!!! To say this was my dream is an understatement." She also thanked fans of the film and the creative team before closing with, "Ok back to crying."

Announced Nov. 7, 2025 (local time), the nominations place 'GOLDEN' in 'Song of the Year', 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance', 'Best Song Written for Visual Media', 'Best Remixed Recording' (David Guetta Remix), and 'Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media'. EJAE—who trained for 12 years at SM Entertainment—co-wrote and performed 'GOLDEN', and voices Rumi of the in-film group HUNTRIX alongside collaborators Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna.

This year’s slate also includes Rosé of BLACKPINK, whose hit 'APT.' is up for 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' among three total nods. It marks the first time K-pop works have reached the Grammys’ General Field categories—and the first such recognition for a K-pop woman—while BTS previously earned 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' nominations at the 63rd through 65th ceremonies.
