The '2025 MAMA Awards' is ready to bring together artists across genres and industries, with a lineup of highly anticipated performances and collaborations.
First, Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh will join the '2025 MAMA Awards' as a presenter. Second, the ceremony will be live-streamed globally in 4K via Mnet Plus for the first time, delivering performances with enhanced visuals and expanded viewing angles. Some stages will feature live band performances to elevate the live event experience.
The '2025 MAMA Awards’ concept, “HEAR MY ROAR: UH-HEUNG” echoes the roar of a tiger — an animal symbolizing Korea’s strength and spirit — while celebrating the power of music to transcend boundaries and unite people across cultures through authentic self-expression.
The theme stage will be the opening act of '2025 MAMA Awards'. Chapter One's theme stage will feature host Park Bo Gum alongside BOYNEXTDOOR, BUMSUP, CORTIS, and TREASURE for a fresh interpretation of the Korean traditional song “Kwaejina Ching Ching” — a multi-genre collaboration reimagining the Korean spirit of pure excitement HEUNG through K-pop styles.
For Chapter Two's theme stage, host Kim Hye Soo, making her 'MAMA Awards' hosting debut, will take the stage with Stray Kids’s Felix for a special opening performance, followed by an exclusive stage featuring ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin and Kyoka, who impressed viewers on Mnet’s 'World Of Street Woman Fighter'.
Finally, the '2025 MAMA Awards' will team up with Netflix’s 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' to bring the film’s climatic battle between Saja Boys and HUNTR/X from screen to stage.
Additional highlights include global K-pop rookie group ALPHA DRIVE ONE making their 'MAMA Awards' debut, veteran K-pop idol Super Junior celebrating their 20th anniversary with a special performance, and global K-pop powerhouse Stray Kids unveiling the first-ever performance of a new track from their upcoming album.
More surprise performances will be revealed at '2025 MAMA Awards', scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29 at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium.
