Actor Yeo Jin Goo opened up about his feelings before enlisting in the military through a handwritten letter shared during his ongoing 20th-anniversary Asia fan meeting tour, BLANKSPACE.
In the letter, Yeo Jin Goo expressed, “I feel a mix of gratitude, excitement, and regret in my heart. The time is approaching for me to step away for a while and experience something new. Being able to face you, meet your eyes, and laugh together during this final Asia tour before enlistment has created truly precious memories for me.”
He continued by thanking his fans and reassuring them, “While I am away, I promise to return as a stronger and more mature person. I will come back healthier, both physically and mentally, and with even deeper acting skills. I hope everyone stays healthy, eats well, and lives happily while I am away.”
Yeo Jin Goo also encouraged fans not to be too sad, reminding them of his body of work: “You have 30 dramas, variety shows, and 20 films to remember me by. I would be grateful if you could revisit them and wait for me. When we meet again, I will return in an even better form.”
Born in 1997, Yeo Jin Goo is 28 years old and made his acting debut in the 2005 film 'Sad Movie.' Ahead of his enlistment, he held fan meetings in Jakarta, Tokyo, Osaka, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Taipei, and will hold a fan meeting in Seoul at Sky Art Hall on November 1.

"Hello, dear fans, this is Yeo Jin Goo.
As I write this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude, excitement, and a sense of longing. The time is approaching for me to step away for a while and experience something new.
