Disney+ has unveiled the main poster and trailer for its upcoming original series 'The Manipulated,' featuring an intense showdown between Ji Chang Wook and Do Kyung Soo (D.O.).
'The Manipulated' is an action drama that follows Tae Joong (played by Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man whose life is turned upside down after being falsely accused of a brutal crime and sent to prison. He later learns that everything was orchestrated by Yo Han (portrayed by Do Kyung Soo) and sets out on a path of revenge. The drama stars Ji Chang Wook, Do Kyung Soo, Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, and Lee Kwang Soo. It’s written by Oh Sang Ho, the screenwriter behind hit projects like 'Taxi Driver' and 'The Roundup 4,' and directed by Park Shin Woo ('The Killing Vote') and Kim Chang Joo ('Hard Hit').

The main poster captures the fierce individuality of each character, with Tae Joong’s determined expression paired with the tagline, “I’ll finish the game you started.” It hints at a man who lost everything overnight and is now consumed by revenge. Yohan’s cold, calculating gaze, as if he’s looking down on the world he manipulates, heightens anticipation for his fateful clash with Tae Joong. Supporting characters like Yong Sik (Kim Jong Soo), Eun Bi (Jo Yoon Soo), and Do Kyung (Lee Kwang Soo), Yo Han’s VIP client, also exude striking presence, teasing an intricate and suspenseful narrative.
The trailer begins with Tae Joong wrongfully imprisoned and preparing for revenge at all costs. As curiosity grows about what led him there, Yo Han appears, offering a chilling proposition: “I’ll make it as if it never happened.” Before Tae Joong’s downfall, Yo Han is shown surveilling him through CCTV and declaring, “Let’s reshape him,” marking Tae Joong as his next target.

As the trailer text reads, “I have been manipulated,” Tae Joong discovers that his misfortune was all part of Yohan’s scheme. Determined to get even, he breaks out of prison, swearing, “No matter what, I’ll kill you.”
The preview also teases spectacular sequences, including hand-to-hand combat, intense motorcycle chases, and high-speed car races, building excitement for the show’s grand-scale production. With Ji Chang Wook, Do Kyung Soo, Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, and Lee Kwang Soo delivering powerful performances, expectations are soaring for the synergy among the cast.
Even before its release, The Manipulated is generating massive buzz online. Fans commented on the trailer, saying, “The cast is incredible. It already looks amazing,” “Can’t wait any longer,” “This combination really works,” “The visuals are insane,” and “So excited. Definitely my most anticipated drama this fall.”
Disney+’s original series The Manipulated will premiere on November 5 with its first four episodes, followed by two new episodes each week, totaling 12 episodes.
