Singer/actor Kwon Hyun Bin will begin his mandatory military service duties soon.
On October 24 KST, his agency Ghost Studio announced,
"Hello, this is Ghost Studio.
We would like to notify you regarding our artist Kwon Hyun Bin's military enlistment.
Kwon Hyun Bin will carry out his mandatory military service as a member of the ROK marine corps, beginning his basic training on November 24 KST.
Because the enlistment is a private occasion involving many new recruits and their families, there will be no official ceremonies or events. We kindly ask for your understanding.
We thank you for your love and support toward Kwon Hyun Bin, and ask that you send him your warm encouragements until the day he returns healthy and mature after diligently carrying out his duties.
Thank you."
Kwon Hyun Bin most recently appeared in the horror/thriller film '4:44 : Time of Fear' and the Lifetime drama 'Love, Andante' in 2024.
Meanwhile, Korean entertainment stars born in 1997, like Kwon Hyun Bin, are enlisting for their mandatory military service duties one by one this year. Stars born in 1998 will begin enlisting in 2026.
