It's rumored that PocketDol Studio, home to survival program winning groups like Fantasy Boys and CLASS:y, is currently sending out casting calls for a new idol audition show projected to air in 2027.
According to one anonymous netizen on an online community, they recently received a "casting offer" through the following message:
"Hello. I'm the casting director for a new program launching in 2027 on SBS. It is an idol audition program."
When asked what entertainment agency the program is affiliated with, the "casting director" responded, "I cannot disclose the exact name of the company at this time, but the management will be handled by an entertainment company known for producing T-ara and Davichi and another entertainment company known for producing SECRET and B.A.P."
Based on the names of artists allegedly produced by these management companies, netizens gathered that the first company referred to PocketDol Studio, currently home to Fantasy Boys and CLASS:y, two groups created from past idol survival programs. The second company, netizens noted, may be referring to Modern Berry Korea, established by former directors at TS Entertainment.
Many onlookers expressed anger and concern over the possibility of PocketDol Studio handling another idol survival program, in light of its current "poor management" of its artists. Some commented,
"They have not given CLASS:y any promotions whatsoever and now they're trying to do another survival show??"
"If this company tries to contact you, please run away and don't look back."
