tvN's new variety program 'Green Bean, Red Bean: Joy Pops, Laugh Pops' got off to a chaotic start with its first episode, which aired on October 17 KST.
On this first episode, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo began their unpredictable trip to Mexico to explore the cuisines of the world. Even before getting to the airport, however, the three cast members caused an alarming scene with their loud and chaotic fashion choices.
First, Lee Kwang Soo arrived at the rendezvous point dressed in what appeared to be ordinary clothes, at first sight. But once he began speaking, the filming crew noticed his two gold-plated front teeth, and asked, "What's that on your teeth?". Lee Kwang Soo explained, "I have to wear these for a filming role. They're glued on. I can't take them off."
The cameraman then also caught sight of Lee Kwang Soo's split-toed shoes, zooming in until Lee Kwang Soo remarked, "Don't zoom in too close!", causing laughter.
Next, Kim Woo Bin appeared dressed from head to toe in a full suit-and-bowtie look, as if he were attending the 'Blue Dragon Film Awards' instead of going to the airport. He stated elegantly, "In light of the new season of our series, I did my best to convey my best manners to the viewers, since I had a feeling that I would not be able to show my best manners once we begin the trip."
Finally, when Doh Kyung Soo arrived and caught sight of his two co-stars, he could not hide his shock. Striking a pose in his crisp, white suit, Kim Woo Bin said to Doh Kyung Soo, "Kyung Soo, where have you put your manners?".
Hearing this, Doh Kyung Soo remarked in disbelief, "You're going to the airport dressed like that?", to which Kim Woo Bin answered, "Until we get through security check."
Taking in Doh Kyung Soo's humble attire, Lee Kwang Soo also commented, "You're a sight too. You're really just threw on whatever you had at home," to which Doh Kyung Soo admitted, "I woke up like 15 minutes ago. But I wore long pants."
Meanwhile, more of Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo's hilarious adventures in Mexico through 'Green Bean, Red Bean: Joy Pops, Laugh Pops' will air every Fridays at 8:40 PM KST on tvN.
