‘Dear.X: To My Tomorrow from Today’ web novel and single ‘To Me From Me’ to drop simultaneously on November 4 KST.
Kakao Entertainment announced on October 28 KST that it will unveil a special collaborative web novel starring rising girl group KiiiKiii (under Starship Entertainment) titled “Dear.X: To My Tomorrow from Today” on November 4 at 6 PM KST, exclusively via KakaoPage. The release will coincide with KiiiKiii’s new digital single, “To Me From Me”, establishing a compelling example of synergy between Kakao Entertainment’s story and music IP businesses.
Penned by acclaimed author Kim Bbang, whose original story inspired the hit drama 'My Lovely Runner', the novel reimagines the five members—Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Haeum, and Kiya—as teenage girls who find themselves transported to a mysterious alternate world. Struggling with loneliness and fear, they embark on an emotional journey to return home, discovering strength and deepening their bonds along the way.
The project spans 53 episodes, all to be released at once, and includes special commentary from the KiiiKiii members designed exclusively for fans.
Since their debut in March with the energetic track “I DO ME”, KiiiKiii has captured audiences with their vibrant, carefree charm, clinching a music show win just 13 days after debut. They continued their momentum with the August release of their first digital single “DANCING ALONE”, securing four rookie awards in 2025 alone and reinforcing their status as next-generation global icons.
The upcoming single, “To Me From Me”, is thematically tied to the narrative of the novel, exploring themes of self-reflection and personal growth, aligning with the group’s developing artistic identity.
The novel’s author worked closely with KiiiKiii through multiple interviews to authentically reflect the group’s personalities and the group’s fictional world. The dual release of the web novel and music single is part of Kakao Entertainment’s broader effort to build multi-dimensional content ecosystems that enhance the fan experience.
On November 12, fans can also look forward to audiobook versions of the novel’s prologue and epilogue, narrated by the KiiiKiii members themselves.
To celebrate the launch, KakaoPage will host a series of events:
