Acclaimed actor Jung Hae In has received a Prime Minister’s Commendation at the 10th Finance Day ceremony, held at the FKI Tower in Yeouido, Seoul.
Finance Day is a national observance aimed at raising public awareness of the financial sector and recognizing outstanding contributions from financial professionals and advocates.
Jung was honored for his charitable efforts, which include supporting children awaiting adoption, participating in various volunteer initiatives, and offering his talents for good causes. His consistent philanthropic activities earned him high praise and the prestigious government award.
In his acceptance speech, the actor expressed gratitude:
“This award holds even more meaning because I was able to do these good deeds alongside my fans. I sincerely thank you all. I will continue to spread messages of giving and sharing, and strive to create a positive influence.”
Actress Jang Na Ra received the Presidential Commendation at the event, recognized for her outstanding contributions through donations totaling over 20 billion KRW(14 million USD) since her debut.
Singer Taeyeon, of Girls’ Generation, was also awarded a Prime Minister’s Commendation, acknowledged for her support of underprivileged teenage girls and animal protection efforts.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In is currently filming the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy series “This F*ing Love” (working title), where he stars as boxing coach Jang Tae Ha. The project promises a heartwarming yet straightforward take on love and life.
