On October 19, renowned South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook made his third visit to the Philippines, marking his first appearance in the country as an ambassador for IAM Worldwide.
Before he took the stage at the sold-out 'DOMIN8' event at the Mall of Asia Arena, the actor met with members of the press to discuss his drama projects and working with IAM Worldwide.
allkpop asked Ji Chang Wook if any of the characters he played left a deep impression on or influenced him in some way, to which he replied:
"The roles that are most memorable to me right now are, of course, the recent projects I've participated in. The project I did most recently is 'The Manipulated,' so it's memorable to me. Also, 'Scandal,' a Netflix original series, brings back many memories as well. To talk about influence, I can't say that a certain project gave me a whole lot of influence, but every scene I film and every role I take influences me as a person, bit by bit. So, every time a project ends, I find myself a little different than I was before, and then I try to go back to the older version of myself. I think I'm still in the process of changing."
When asked about activities he has taken an interest in lately aside from acting, Ji Chang Wook admitted it's a difficult question for him to answer. "I don't think there's any specific hobby that I am interested in these days. You know, sometimes I meet my friends, and other times I just do nothing at home or read books."
During the event, Ji Chang Wook made a grand entrance in a sleek, green leather jacket, revving a motorcycle he rode in place on the stage.
In an interactive segment, Ji Chang Wook played games with lucky fans who joined him on stage. The actor had to guess the titles of his drama projects as the fans acted them out in a game of charades.
