Posts claiming that G-Dragon will perform at Cheomseongdae have been spreading online, but Gyeongju City has confirmed that the information is false.
On October 26, Gyeongju City stated, "The online posts circulating on web communities and blogs about G-Dragon's '2025 APEC Gyeongju Cheomseongdae Performance' are completely untrue."
Earlier, multiple social media posts claimed that G-Dragon would hold a free concert at the Cheonseongdae to commemorate the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit in Gyeongju.
The posts included details that G-Dragon would perform solo against the backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site and included information about advance registration to attend.
A city official clarified, “The information about advance registration or applications is also groundless. We urge citizens to be cautious and verify details only through official channels.”
Meanwhile, the 2025 APEC Summit will be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, from October 31 to November 1. On a different note, RM has become the first K-pop idol to stand on stage as a keynote speaker at the APEC Summit.
