Actor Kim Mu Jun has been cast alongside Ahn Eun Jin and Jang Ki Yong in the upcoming drama 'Dynamite Kiss.'
It has been confirmed that the actor will appear in SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' (written by Ha Yoon Ah and Tae Kyung Min, directed by Kim Jae Hyun and Kim Hyun Woo), playing single dad Kim Sun Woo.
Sun Woo is a warm-hearted photographer. When his friend Go Da Rim (played by Ahn Eun Jin) asks him to pretend to be her husband for a covert work assignment, subtle shifts in his emotions begin to emerge.
He ends up competing for Da Rim’s love against Gong Ji Hyeok (played by Jang Ki Yong). Since the two have shared an unforgettable, almost cataclysmic kiss, viewers are curious about the ripple effects this will have.
On October 22, SBS released the official still showing Kim Mu Jun flawlessly pulling off everything from casual outfits to sharp suits, exuding a relaxed charm with his friendly smile.
The production team commented, “Sun Woo is the ‘ideal male friend.’ Kim Moo-jun’s handsome appearance amplifies the character’s charm and heightens the tension of the love triangle.”
Meanwhile, Kim Mu Jun was embroiled in a scandal earlier this year when Japanese weekly magazine Shūkan Bunshun published photos allegedly showing Mei Nagano and Kei Tanaka engaging in intimate behavior, claiming the two are having an extramarital affair. Kei Tanaka, who has been married since 2011 and has two daughters, is facing heavy criticism in Japan over the allegation.
Adding fuel to the fire, Shūkan Bunshun also reported that a Korean actor currently starring alongside Nagano in the TBS Sunday drama 'Castor' had been seen visiting her home. The drama, which premiered on April 13, features both Mei Nagano and Kim Mu Jun, leading to online speculation in both South Korea and Japan that Kim could be the rumored boyfriend.
Following the reports, Kim Mu Jun's agency immediately denied the rumors.
