The 'Top 8' undergoes major changes + 24 contestants move onto the semifinals on Mnet's 'Boys II Planet'

On the September 4 KST broadcast of Mnet's 'Boys II Planet', a total of 24 contestants proceeded to the semifinal competition round.

The second contestant rankings also witnessed major changes and fluctuations, as contestants like Kim Jun Min and Jeon Yi Jeong rose up to #16 and #12 respectively, earning a ticket to the next round. Park Jun Il also leapt 22 ranks to secure rank #13. 

The contestant who secured the coveted rank of #24, barely dodging elimination, was contestant Kim Dong Gyu. 

Finally, this week's top 8 included Yoo Kang Min (#8), Kim Geon Woo (#7), Jung Sang Hyun (#6), Kim Jun Seo (#5), He Xin Long (#4), Lee Leo (#3), Zhou Anxin (#2), and Lee Sang Won (#1). 

Also on this episode, the contestants began preparations for the semifinal round featuring 'Boys II Planet' original songs "Lucky Macho", "Chains", "Sugar High", and "Main Dish". Virtual idol group PLAVE made a surprise guest appearance as the producers behind "Main Dish", garnering attention.
