Stray Kids’ Seungmin celebrated his birthday on September 22 with a meaningful act of generosity, donating 100 million KRW (approximately 72,000 USD) to the child welfare organization Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea.
The donation will be directed toward Green Umbrella’s Family Care Support Program, which assists children who must assume adult responsibilities at a young age due to challenging family circumstances.
Sharing his heartfelt thoughts, Seungmin said, “I hope that the children who have to endure like adults at a young age can put down their burdens even if only for a moment. I hope my help will ease their shoulders even just a little and become a strength for them to dream of their future.”

Seungmin has built a strong reputation for his consistent charitable efforts. On his birthday last year, he donated another ₩100 million to support Green Umbrella’s Self-Reliance Support Project for Youths Aging Out of Care. Earlier this year, in April, he and his Stray Kids members jointly donated ₩800 million to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to aid emergency relief efforts for wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
With these acts of kindness, Seungmin continues to embody the positive influence he and Stray Kids share with fans worldwide, giving back in ways that create a lasting impact.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are set to hold their first-ever stadium concert in Korea with ‘Stray Kids World Tour ’ at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on October 18 and 19. The shows will mark the finale of their record-breaking world tour, which has covered 34 regions and 54 performances.
