
On the morning of September 16, Seventeen's music video for "HOT," the title track of their fourth studio album 'Face the Sun,' surpassed 200 million views on YouTube.
This marks the group’s third music video to achieve the milestone. Previously, Seventeen reached 200 million views with "Don’t Wanna Cry" and "Super". The achievement adds to the success of their 2022 releases.
"HOT" is a hip-hop track characterized by the harmonious blend of Western guitar sounds. The song reflects Seventeen boldly following their path while facing the sun, symbolizing courage and determination. Upon release, the track dominated domestic music charts and has been streamed over 271.94 million times on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
The music video, themed “Shoot the Sun,” gained attention for its striking concept. It reached 100 million views in just seven and a half months, setting a personal record for the group.
Seventeen currently has eight music videos with over 100 million views. Other hits crossing this threshold include "MAESTRO", "Clap", "VERY NICE", "Left & Right," and "Rock With You".
Meanwhile, Seventeen kicked off their world tour 'NEW_' on September 13–14 in Incheon, showcasing their performance skills despite some members being absent due to military service.
Seventeen will perform at Hong Kong’s largest venue, Kai Tak Sports Park, on September 27–28, followed by five North American cities in October and Japan’s four major domes from November to December.
