She stars in 'To the End', a segment directed by Ra Hee Chan as part of the omnibus short film project 'Believe', helmed by directors Lee Jong Seok, Ra Hee Chan, and Park Beom Soo. The project explores the theme of “faith” from each director’s unique perspective.
'To the End' is a comic human drama that blends elements of melodrama, action, and comedy against an imaginative backdrop. Despite the short runtime, Seohyun delivers a nuanced performance, capturing the emotional arc of her character with subtlety and conviction. Her natural delivery and ability to adapt to the film’s diverse tone highlight her evolving acting range.
Known for her versatility across genres and platforms, Seohyun continues to break free from conventional labels like “short” or “feature-length.” With this project, she adds a new layer of depth to her filmography, showing her pure-hearted commitment to both story and character.
Meanwhile, Seohyun is also receiving acclaim for her role as Cha Seon Chaek in the KBS drama 'The First Night with the Duke', where she seamlessly balances comedy and romance.
'To the End' will be released as part of 'Believe' in select CGV theaters starting September 17.
