Rookie boy group IDID has officially made their debut and shared their excitement with fans.
On September 15 at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, the group held a showcase for their debut album "I did it."
Member Jang Yong Hoon said, “It’s an honor to debut following in the footsteps of the seniors I respect. I’m so happy to finally stand on the stage I’ve always dreamed of. I’ll work hard to grow into an artist who can proudly follow after them.”
Kim Min Jae added, “This is a moment I’ve been desperately waiting for. Throughout the debut project, I believed in myself, that I would make it and debut. I’ll make sure to prove to the fans who supported us just how amazing IDID is.”
Park Won Bin explained the meaning of the group’s name: “It means ‘we did it.’ It carries our confidence and spirit of challenge. Beyond the stage, in singing, performance, and communication with fans, it reflects our determination to push past limits and achieve.”
Jang Yong Hoon also noted that the name felt right from the start, saying it suited the group’s ambitions.
Born through Starship Entertainment’s large-scale project Debut’s Plan, IDID is a 7-member group with an average age of 18. The debut album captures the members’ raw energy and emotions, expressing the belief that imperfection can still shine brightly.
The album features the title track “Shine My Way” along with “SLOW TIDE,” “STEP IT UP,” “ImPerfect,” “So G.oo.D,” “STICKY BOMB,” “Through Your Dreams,” and “Blooming CROWN.” The title track highlights IDID’s youthful energy with bright acoustic guitar and rhythmic drums paired with refreshing vocals.
"I did it." will be released on September 15 at 6 PM KST across music platforms, followed by a fan showcase in the evening at 8 PM.
