Netizens say Hearts2Hearts is carrying on the legacy of SM’s traditional girl groups, like Girls’ Generation, f(x), and S.E.S

Hearts2Hearts is earning high praise for their recent comeback, as well as their work as a whole this year.

A recent viral post has netizens currently discussing SM girl group Hearts2Hearts, and agreeing that the group bears striking similarities to 1st and 2nd gen SM girl groups like Girls' Generation, f(x), S.E.S, and more. Not only that, but netizens have also compiled videos of Hearts2Hearts consistently paying tribute to these groups, through dance challenges, song covers, and more.

The conversation started with Hearts2Hearts' debut single 'The Chase' and 'Butterflies,' with netizens saying the vocal style reminded them strongly of f(x).

Netizens pointed out that Hearts2Hearts often says Girls' Generation has been their role model since pre-debut, and consistently covers their songs even now.

With Hearts2Hearts' most recent releases 'Style' and 'Pretty Please,' netizens commented that it isn't only the songs themselves that remind them of S.E.S and Girls' Generation, it's also the sharp choreography and cheerful, upbeat attitude.

In particular, netizens say 'Pretty Please' reminds them strongly of S.E.S's '('Cause') I'm Your Girl,' released in 1997:
