Netflix has released the main poster and trailer for its upcoming action film 'Mantis.'
The movie follows Hanul (Im Si Wan (Siwan)), an A-list hitman returning from a long hiatus to a world where all rules in the assassination industry have collapsed, as he faces his rival and trainee Jay (Park Gyu Young) and the retired legendary killer Dok Go (Jo Woo Jin) in a battle for the top spot.
The newly unveiled poster captures the tense dynamic between the three killers against the backdrop of MK ENT’s elite assassin training academy. Hanul, a naturally gifted A-list assassin, stands alongside his longtime friend and rival Jay while the retired legend Dok Go looms as a formidable presence.
Featuring the tagline “A New Era of Rising Killers,” the poster also hints at brutal confrontations with scattered bloodstains and the menacing scythe, which is Mantis’ signature weapon. Beyond the action, the film explores complex relationships between friends and rivals as well as mentors and disciples, raising anticipation for the fresh and distinctive chemistry among the trio.
With Im Si Wan, Park Gyu Young, and Jo Woo Jin leading the cast, Netflix’s 'Mantis' promises a thrilling new entry in the action genre. The film will premiere on Netflix on September 26.
