Lee Hyori’s yoga studio Ananda has officially opened, and its one-day classes sold out at lightning speed.
On September 5, Lee Hyori announced the launch of Ananda’s one-day class program, sharing the news through the studio’s official channel Ananda Hyori. “Thank you for waiting so patiently,” she wrote. “As previously announced, we are running a soft opening this September, offering only one-day classes so that more people can experience yoga.”
Ticket sales opened at 6 p.m. that evening and disappeared almost instantly. Fans and yoga enthusiasts flooded the Ananda Hyori account with comments such as, “The passes sold out in a flash,” “They were gone too quickly,” and “Will there be an additional release?”
The one-day program features Hatha yoga, held in two separate sessions: one at 8:30 a.m. and another at 10 a.m., each lasting one hour. Priced at 35,000 KRW (about $26) per class, the fee is in line with standard rates for yoga studios in Korea.
Last month, Lee Hyori drew attention after announcing she would be opening her studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Fellow celebrities including Yoo Jae Suk, Seo Jang Hoon, and Babylon sent congratulatory flower arrangements to celebrate the opening.
Lee Hyori, who married musician Lee Sang Soon in 2013, lived in Jeju Island for about 11 years before moving back to Seoul last year. She purchased a detached home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, for approximately 6 billion KRW (about $4.4 million), paying in full cash.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori is set to appear in Yoo Jae Suk’s upcoming Netflix variety show 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' next year, where she will join Lee Kwang Soo and Byeon Woo Seok.
