According to Star News on September 4, Lee Hyori is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix variety program 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp,' scheduled for release next year.
'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' will mark Yoo Jae Suk’s first-ever attempt at running a guesthouse in his 34-year career. Yoo will personally welcome guests as the friendly host of the camp, delivering warmth and laughter. The show is directed by Jung Hyo Min PD, known for pioneering the “guesthouse variety” genre through JTBC’s 'Hyori’s Homestay' series (2017–2018) and this year’s Netflix show 'Kian’s Bizarre B&B.'
Lee Hyori, who previously worked with Jung PD on 'Hyori’s Homestay,' will join 'Yoo Jae Suk Camp' as a guest thanks to her connection with both Yoo and Jung. As a senior figure in the “guesthouse variety” format, her chemistry with Yoo Jae Suk is highly anticipated.
Meanwhile, the production team began recruiting participants for the camp on July 12. Actors Lee Kwang Soo and Byeon Woo Seok have also been confirmed as staff members who will help Yoo Jae Suk run the guesthouse.
Lee Kwang Soo, who has long shared proven chemistry with Yoo Jae Suk on SBS’s 'Running Man' and Disney+’s 'The Zone: Survival Mission,' is expected to bring his signature comedic charm once again. Rising star Byeon Woo Seok will also join the cast, adding freshness to the mix.
Producer Lee So Min commented, “With the addition of a duo that balances familiarity and novelty, we expect delightful synergy and a richer chemistry. More staff members will also be joining the lineup.” Filming is slated to begin in September or October once casting is finalized.
