Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, has once again proven his immense popularity and influence in Japan, being named the role model of a new Japanese boy group member.
Vogue Japan recently published an interview titled “Q&A with aoen: Seven Stars Reveal Their True Selves.” aoen is HYBE’s next-generation J-pop boy group, which officially debuted on June 11, 2025.
In the interview, member GAKU was asked, “Who is your fashion icon?” GAKU answered, “BTS’s V. I've admired him ever since I first became a trainee. I was only around 16 at the time, so no matter how hard I tried to imitate him, it just didn't suit me. I hope that when I get older and have a better vibe, I'll be able to dress like V”.

Widely known as the "Idol of Idols," Kim Taehyung has become a defining figure for a new generation of K-pop artists. Revered for his unparalleled stage presence, deep baritone vocals, and artistic individuality, Taehyung has carved out a unique identity that blends classic charisma with modern edge.

Taehyung's influence extends far beyond performance, shaping fashion trends, visual aesthetics, and even the way idols express emotion on stage. Aspiring artists often cite him not just as a role model, but as the embodiment of what it means to be both a global superstar and an authentic, expressive artist.
