Gyeongseo, a member of the duo GYEONGSEOYEJI, has announced her upcoming marriage.
On September 12, she shared through her personal social media account that she will be tying the knot this October with someone “she wants to spend her life with.” Alongside the announcement, she revealed wedding photos and a handwritten letter to fans.
In her post, Gyeongseo wrote, “I’ve met someone very precious with whom I want to spend my lifetime, and I will be getting married this October.” She also admitted that personally delivering the news felt more difficult than she had expected: “When I received a wedding invitation before, I didn’t think much of it. But now that I’m the one delivering the news directly, it feels quite challenging.” She then asked for understanding from those who had not yet heard the news personally.
Gyeongseo concluded with words of gratitude, saying, “Thank you for being with me through every moment. I will always remain the same Gyeongseo of GYEONGSEOYEJI.”
Born in 1995, Gyeongseo debuted in 2020 as part of the duo GYEONGSEOYEJI, a group named after the members’ own names. Since their debut, the duo has released songs including “Actually.. I Miss You,” “Why Has Your Love Changed,” “Words I Want to Say,” “If You Lovingly Call My Name,” “Why Is Love So Hard for Me,” and “When Tomorrow Comes.”

"Hello everyone, this is Gyeongseo of GYEONGSEOYEJI. Today, I wanted to personally share the most precious news of my life. Thanks to all of you who have cherished and supported me, I’ve been able to come this far.
I’ve met someone very dear, with whom I want to spend my lifetime, and I will be getting married this October. Though I share this with some hesitation, I wanted to let you, my fans, know first. I realize this news may come as a surprise, but I promise to continue giving back through better music and performances, staying sincerely by your side as always.
When I received wedding invitations before, I didn’t think much of it, but now that I’m in the position of delivering the news myself, I’ve realized how difficult it can be. For those who may not have received this news directly, I sincerely ask for your understanding. Please feel free to reach out, and I’ll be more than happy to share this news with a grateful heart.
