Fans were surprised to see former izna member Yoon Jiyoon in a recent Instagram story.
On September 25 KST, Yoon Jiyoon appeared in a dance challenge uploaded by solo artist and former 'Boys II Planet' contestant Ryan. The two showcased their groovy moves to Ryan's latest single, "Boys Plan", conveying a casual vibe between friends.
Furthermore, earlier this month, an online netizen claimed that Yoon Jiyoon was spotted in the streets of Gangnam, traveling along with fellow former 'I-Land 2: N/a' contestant Kim Minsol, Ryan, and another unidentified male. Many onlookers were undoubtedly surprised by such an unlikely gathering of former survival program contestants
Meanwhile, Wake One Entertainment officially announced Yoon Jiyoon's departure from izna in August of this year. The announcement came approximately 6 months after the Yoon Jiyoon went on an indefinite hiatus due to "health reasons". Many fans were in fact extremely disappointed by Yoon Jiyoon's departure from izna, as they considered her one of izna's main vocalists.
Ryan, a former contestant on Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' affiliated with the independent music label WAYF, released his 1st digital single "AROJIN (0123)" in July of this year. Just yesterday, he dropped a new single called "Boys Plan" featuring MV cameo appearances by fellow 'Boys II Planet' alums Andrew and Jack. At the end of the MV, Ryan hinted at a follow-up project in the works with the subtitles, "2025. ??:?? ??:??". It's known that Andrew also signed with WAYF shortly after his elimination on 'Boys II Planet'.
Reacting to the quite unexpected "gathering" of these musicians, some netizens said, "Are they doing a co-ed group??", "What is she doing there? I thought she had to halt her promotions because of health reasons", "Is it a co-ed group? Or is she going solo?", and more.
