Travel YouTuber KwakTube (real name Kwak Jun Bin) has announced he will be getting married in October and is also expecting to be a father.
On September 8, his agency SM C&C stated, "Kwak Jun Bin will be getting married this October. The bride is a non-celebrity, and the two have built trust and love as a couple, promising to be lifelong partners." The agency added, "While preparing for their marriage, they were blessed with the gift of new life. As it is still an early and delicate stage, the couple is being cautious but grateful as they await their new family member."
According to the announcement, the wedding will be held privately, with only close relatives and acquaintances.
On the same day, KwakTube also personally revealed the news of his marriage and his fiancée’s pregnancy through his YouTube channel.
In the video he shared, "I met my girlfriend after becoming a YouTuber. We started dating before I became well-known, but as we both got busier, we grew distant and broke up. Later, we reconnected, and she became an even greater source of comfort for me."
He continued, "Although she is much younger than I am, she has always boosted my confidence and self-esteem. She has supported and cared for me more than I deserved. After we reunited, I often mentioned on the broadcast that my goal was marriage. I wanted to be the first to tell you when I found the person I would marry."
He then announced, "I'm finally getting married. We had originally planned for May next year, but recently we received an even greater blessing of a baby. So we moved the wedding date to October."
KwakTube also shared his thoughts on marriage and explained, "Since I was young, I've always had a dream of having a family and becoming a father. I wanted to become a good husband and father like my own parents. I realized that with this person, I could truly build that kind of life."
He added, "I've shared two huge announcements with you today. I'm still overwhelmed, but I believe they are great blessings. Through YouTube, I've always wanted to share my life as it is. Just like marriage, I want to continue showing my growth as if it were an ongoing series."
He finally expressed gratitude by saying, "As someone's husband and father, I promise to become more mature, work harder, and live happily. Thank you so much for your support until now, and I ask for your continued encouragement going forward."
