Actress Park Han Byul is officially returning to her career after overcoming the controversy surrounding her husband, sharing updates on her life with her children.
On the August 10 broadcast of the TV Chosun variety program 'Delicious Rendezvous with Heo Young Man,' Park Han Byul appeared as a guest. That day, she said, "I’ve been on a break for about 7 years. During that time, I lived in Jeju while raising my children. They’re 8 and 4 years old."
She recently completed filming for the movie 'Karma' and is preparing for her acting comeback. "I just finished shooting a movie. I starred alongside actors Park Ho San and Park Si Hoo, so we’re called the Three Parks," she shared.
During this episode, Park Han Byul also shared that she stepped away from acting partly because the image and the roles she was being offered felt "too far" from her authentic identity—such as playing a character who always wears high heels, even though she herself "never wears them" and doesn’t own a single pair at home.

Park Han Byul married former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Seok in 2017, and they have two sons together. In 2019, Yoo In Seok was named a central figure in the so-called 'Burning Sun' scandal alongside his business partner, former Big Bang member Seungri. He was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison, suspended for 3 years, on charges including embezzlement of company funds and arranging prostitution.
Due to her husband’s controversy, Park Han Byul also stepped away from acting. Her last project was the 2019 drama 'Love in Sadness.'
