Rookie idol group NOWZ has been featured on the cover of fashion magazine The Star’s K-pop rookie edition, released on the 26th.
With the theme ‘A New Season of NOWZ,’ the pictorial highlighted a preppy style inspired by a new semester, capturing the members’ curious and youthful charm.
Drawing on their growing experience in fashion shoots, the members presented natural yet striking moments throughout the spread.
In the accompanying interview, NOWZ reflected on their first mini album IGNITION, released last month, sharing stories about their own ‘ignition’ moments and pre-stage habits.
Jinhyuk said, “Since it was our first step under the name NOWZ, expectations were high. We were able to finish successfully by showing sides of ourselves we hadn’t revealed before.”
Siyun commented, “We wanted to show that we are a group with limitless potential. I’m happy we could also prove that on overseas stages.” Hyeonbin added, “It was an album that carried a burning determination. I wanted to convey that feeling fully on stage.”
Recently, NOWZ held promotions in major Chinese cities including Beijing and Shanghai, and they will meet local fans in Tokyo starting on the 29th.
