Moon Won, the singer and fiancé of Koyote member Shinji, has taken legal action against online defamers.
DLG Law Firm, representing Moon Won, released an official statement on August 16, announcing that “on August 5, 2025, we filed a criminal complaint on behalf of Mr. Moon Won against certain individuals responsible for spreading false and damaging content, which caused significant harm.” The firm emphasized that it will continue to take strong action against the dissemination of false information and malicious content in the future.
Moon Won also addressed the situation on his social media, stating, “Following a recent video, I’ve reflected deeply on my words and behavior and have realized the need to improve. I will continue to make efforts to become a better version of myself.”
However, he added, “Malicious and untrue content is spreading rapidly, causing harm to many people,” confirming the decision to pursue legal action.
Shinji and Moon Won are set to marry in the first half of next year, attracting public attention. In a past video on Shinji’s YouTube channel, Moon Won shared personal details, including a previous divorce and a daughter from that marriage. This led to renewed discussions about past rumors and his behavior.
In response, Shinji’s agency and Moon Won released a notarized divorce confirmation to clarify the situation, temporarily ending the controversy.
