G-DRAGON couldn’t contain his laughter during comedian Yoo Byung Jae’s YouTube content “No Laugh Birthday Party”, released on August 18.
The video, which celebrated the singer’s birthday, quickly went viral—racking up 1.9 million views within just 14 hours of release. G-DRAGON appeared in a vibrant outfit featuring red-frame glasses, a blue shirt, and red pants, radiating a festive yet relaxed aura as the party’s main star.
The event was packed with a star-studded guest list, including Yoo Byung Jae, comedian Kim Yong Myung, MMA fighter Choi Hong Man, makeup artist Risabae, and world-renowned beatboxer Wing. Together, they delivered a string of memes and playful antics that left G-DRAGON struggling to keep a straight face.
From Yoo Byung Jae’s witty “Taeyang meme” introduction—“Isn’t my friend so cool? Isn’t he so crooked?”—to Kim Yong Myung’s mash-up of the viral summer meme “Turn on the AC to full power!” with G-DRAGON’s track “POWER”, the party was filled with comedic highlights.
The biggest scene-stealer was Yoo’s son, Yoo Yi Jin, whose innocent smile and adorable reactions melted hearts and stole the show.
Meanwhile, G-DRAGON is currently on his third world tour, “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch],” which kicked off in Korea before expanding globally.
