TWICE member Jeongyeon has made a warm gesture of giving alongside her fans.
The second season of the YouTube variety show 'INSPECTOR', hosted by Jeongyeon, has concluded with a donation supporting children with disabilities.
On July 29th KST, new media content company The SMC announced that the funds raised through 'INSPECTOR Season 2' were donated to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital. The show gained popularity with its format of featuring celebrity guests, sharing their cherished items with viewers, and having Jeongyeon help fulfill the guests’ wishes.
This season, in collaboration with ChildFund Korea, viewers who participated in the donation raffle received official donation certificates. Selected winners also received celebrity items and Polaroid photos.
The donations, gathered through the participation of Jeongyeon and her fans, will help fund rehabilitation treatment, assistive devices, and medical supplies for children and adolescents with disabilities at Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital—the only public pediatric rehabilitation hospital in Korea, which offers essential support to families in need.
Like Season 1, INSPECTOR Season 2 functioned as a viewer-driven donation project, praised for embodying positive celebrity influence through variety content. The season concluded on July 23rd with its 10th and final episode.
In the finale, Jeongyeon personally visited Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital for a volunteer activity and expressed her gratitude to the guests who donated their items. The episode also featured updates from past guests, including Mimiminu, who earned her driver’s license, and comedians Lee Chang Ho and Kwak Beom, who shared news of their film 'Mandom' winning an award.
Jeongyeon shared,
“I’m happy to be part of this warm act of giving for the children. I hope everyone’s support reaches them with encouragement.”
The INSPECTOR production team added,
“We aimed to go beyond simple entertainment by turning donation into content. Please look forward to our next donation-driven series.”
Following the end of Season 2, The SMC is currently airing a special spin-off of 'INSPECTOR' on their official YouTube channel.
