Singer Brian has spoken out about the psychological toll of ongoing online harassment, publicly exposing a malicious commenter through his personal social media account.
On July 28th KST, Brian posted screenshots of direct messages (DMs) sent by an anonymous user, along with the caption:
“This is driving me insane.”
The messages were filled with profanity, slander, and even death threats. The attacker wrote statements such as “I’m reporting you to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” “You’ll be deported,” and “I’ll post this to the public petition board because I’m a Korean citizen.” More disturbing remarks followed, including “You’re a sociopath,” “A worthless insect,” and “Go to hell.”

In response, Brian tagged the user’s account in his post and labeled them “PSYCHO,” effectively calling them out in front of his followers.
He also shared a list of accounts that he had previously blocked or restricted, claiming:
“This psycho created so many accounts.”
The public exposure of the messages quickly garnered strong reactions from netizens, many expressing shock and concern.
“This is beyond hate comments—this is stalking,”
some commented, while others speculated the attacker may be suffering from psychological issues.
Brian debuted in the entertainment industry as one half of the male duo Fly to the Sky, and later gained popularity through his appearances on web variety shows, where he became known for his “clean freak” persona. He recently drew attention after revealing his 300-pyeong (approx. 10,000 sq ft) mansion.
