RIIZE has updated the public on the ongoing progress of its legal actions against the spread of false information and other malicious acts targeting its members.

On July 15, SM Entertainment announced, “We have filed legal complaints against individuals who spread false information about RIIZE. Some of these cases have already been forwarded to the prosecution last year with specific charges identified.”
According to the agency, certain individuals impersonated acquaintances of RIIZE members and repeatedly spread fabricated information. As a result of their illegal activities, some have been convicted and fined.
More recently, there have been repeated incidents involving the unauthorized use of RIIZE members’ personal information to change or cancel their flight bookings, disrupting their schedules. SM Entertainment confirmed that legal action is also underway in response to these acts.
“This constitutes obstruction of business and may also be subject to claims for damages,” SM stated. “We urge everyone to be cautious and avoid involvement in such inappropriate activities.”
SM Entertainment emphasized that it is continuously monitoring various platforms, both domestic and international, and is pursuing both criminal and civil actions against individuals posting malicious content targeting RIIZE members.
Additionally, SM Entertainment is collecting evidence and taking legal action against defamatory comments and posts spreading false information about its management staff.
RIIZE firmly stated, “We urge the public to refrain from revealing personal information or engaging in malicious personal attacks and defamation. We will respond strictly to all unlawful actions without any leniency.”
