Rapper Swings (real name Moon Ji Hoon) is finally achieving his long-held dream of becoming an actor.
Swings, who has publicly expressed his desire to pursue acting, has been cast in the highly anticipated film 'Tazza 4,' marking his official debut in a dramatic feature film.
According to insiders in the film industry, Swings has joined the cast of 'Tazza 4,' directed by Choi Kook Hee, and is currently preparing for filming.

While his specific role has not yet been revealed, he is set to work alongside previously confirmed cast members, including Byun Yo Han and Noh Jae Won.
Swings recently hinted at his participation by posting several photos on his social media with lead actor Byun Yo Han, subtly signaling his involvement in the project.
This is not Swings’s first attempt at acting.
He made his first appearance in the web drama 'The Nonexistent Movie,' created by content creator Jin Yong Jin, where he played the CEO of a used car dealership. However, 'Tazza 4' marks a pivotal point as his full-fledged debut in a commercial feature film.

'Tazza 4' is the fourth installment in the popular Tazza film series, which began with Choi Dong Hoon’s 'Tazza: The High Rollers' in 2006, followed by 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' (2014) directed by Kang Hyeong Cheol, and 'Tazza: One Eyed Jack' (2019) by Kwon Oh Kwang.
The first film attracted over 5.69 million moviegoers, establishing 'Tazza' as a major franchise. Expectations are high for 'Tazza 4' to live up to its legacy.
The original webtoon’s creator, Heo Young Man, commented on MBC’s 'Radio Star' on May 9 that 'Tazza 4' would be “the most dramatic of the series,” raising anticipation even further. Swings’s casting adds weight to that claim.
Swings's decision to officially pursue acting was sparked by an incident related to 'Squid Game 2' late last year.
Director Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed that he had considered Swings for the role of “Thanos” (originally played by T.O.P/Choi Seung Hyun) but ultimately did not cast him due to Swings's lack of verified acting experience.
Motivated by this, Swings began seriously training as an actor, even enrolling in acting classes. Last month, he launched a web reality series called 'Great Actor Swings,' a black comedy observational show that documents his journey into acting.

“There are a lot of people who laugh at or don’t believe in my acting aspirations,” he said. “But I’m going to show them the real, serious me.” That determination is now becoming a reality.
Since debuting as a rapper in 2008 with Upgrade, Swings has spent 17 years in music, and is now taking on a bold new challenge as he turns 40. His next steps are being closely watched by fans and the entertainment industry alike.
There is growing interest in whether 'Tazza 4' will be a breakthrough not just for the film itself, but also for Swings as a credible actor, and whether his journey can inspire others to pursue new dreams.
'Tazza 4' will be directed by Choi Kook Hee, known for 'Split' (2016), a gambling-themed bowling movie, as well as 'Default' and 'Life Is Beautiful.' The film promises a larger scale and solid script compared to its predecessors.
Production is once again being handled by Sidus, which also produced the previous films in the franchise.
