Actor Lee Dong Wookhas candidly addressed the ongoing love-line speculation between him and comedian Jang Do Yeon, revealing his unbothered stance with a confident smile.
On July 23, a new episode of the YouTube talk show 'Na-rae Sik' was released. The video, titled 'Lee Dong-wook X Park Hoon | 'Narae, I can’t talk to you' | The Nice Guy, a call with Jang Do Yeon, and Harbin behind-the-scenes [EP.44],' featured Lee Dong Wook and fellow actor Park Hoon, who co-star in the drama 'The Nice Guy.' The two joined host Park Na Rae for a lively and humorous conversation.
During the episode, Park Na Rae brought up Lee’s close friendship and rumored romance with Jang Do Yeon. Reacting with slight exasperation, Lee said, "Can we stop talking about Do Yeon? She must feel overwhelmed. We even brought it up again on ‘I Live Alone,’ and she seemed really flustered."
Park Na Rae then jokingly mentioned that Jang Do Yeon feared Lee’s agency might sue her over the repeated teasing. Lee reassured everyone, saying, "That’s absolutely not the case. I actually enjoy those jokes. I find it really funny when people make fun of me like that."
He added, "What I’ve really been worried about is Do Yeon getting uncomfortable. She already gets a lot of playful attention from other male actors, and if people keep linking her to me on top of that, it might make things awkward for her."
When the production team asked if he felt any jealousy seeing Jang Do Yeon linked with actors like Son Suk Ku or Gong Yoo, Lee calmly responded, "Honestly? Not at all. You know why? Because she likes me the most." His confident reply sparked laughter on set and became a standout moment in the episode.
