The '4th Blue Dragon Series Awards' took place on July 18 at Paradise City Hotel in Jung-gu, Incheon. The ceremony was hosted once again by Jun Hyun Moo and YoonA, marking their fourth consecutive year as MCs.
This year, 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' was nominated in six categories, including Best Drama, Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best New Actor. The drama ultimately took home the Grand Prize, with Yeom Hye Ran taking home the Best Supporting Actress and IU winning the Best Actress award.
Following the announcement of the full list of winners, Korean fans and netizens were ecstatic as IU was recognized for her exceptional role in the beloved drama. Many were not surprised that IU would take this year's Best Actress award and gathered in a popular online community to congratulate her.
