Jeon Somi has just revealed her longterm personal friendship with NMIXX's Lily.
On the latest episode of MNET's 'L1VE WIRE,' Jeon Somi chose to invite NMIXX as a special guest. She explained that due to her long history with one of the members, she was excited to see them again and find out how much they've grown as an artist.
That special friend turned out to be NMIXX's Lily. Somi revealed that she and Lily had been trainees at JYP Entertainment together, where they had become friends. Somi got teary-eyed while explaining, "I ran into Lily at a university festival a while ago, and I couldn't believe how much she had changed. I really wanted to see her again, so I personally chose to invite NMIXX on this episode."
Lily then expressed her feelings about their friendship: "I listen to Somi's music a lot, and I've been so curious about how she's doing these days. I really missed her." The two shared a special moment as they reminisced about their friendship as trainees.
Somi expressed her admiration of NMIXX's close friendship and fun chemistry as a group, saying that she often gets lonely as a solo artist. After Somi shared her desire to join them even for a short performance, NMIXX taught her the choreography for 'DASH,' performing a short version of the song alongside Somi.
Somi reflected on the experience by saying, "It was such a short moment, but it was thrilling. I've always wanted to grow closer with the NMIXX members, especially Lily, so I'm glad I finally got the chance."
