IVE is set to make their official comeback in late August. Ahead of the release, the group offered a surprise glimpse of a new track during their appearance on '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer', broadcast live on July 26 (KST) through SBS Play and CHZZK.
The group opened their set with 'REBEL HEART', the pre-release track from their third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY', which was unveiled in January. Following their recent performances at Lollapalooza Berlin and Lollapalooza Paris, IVE brought a confident and composed presence to the stage, standing out with their performance skills and charisma.
Immediately after 'REBEL HEART', the LED screen displayed the word 'SECRET', followed by a short segment of an unreleased song and choreography set to be released in August. With no prior notice, the unexpected reveal drew enthusiastic reactions from fans. The dreamy sound and catchy choreography quickly spread on social media, sparking significant buzz.
During the show, An Yu Jin, who also served as MC, commented, “Last year at the '2024 Gayo Daejeon', you all loved the surprise spoiler for ‘REBEL HEART,’ so we brought you another one this year.” She added, “Since I’m the MC, I’ll use my privilege to show you a little more,” before revealing another portion of the choreography. The members added, “We’re preparing for the comeback with the intention of helping you beat the summer heat. Please give lots of love to our upcoming album.”
To close out their appearance, IVE performed 'ATTITUDE', the title track from their third mini album, leaving a strong impression on the audience. Member Liz also participated in a collaboration stage with the band Jannabi, performing 'Our Night is More Beautiful Than Your Day', where she received positive feedback for her emotional delivery and vocal performance. Meanwhile, An Yu Jin, hosting the event for the fourth consecutive year, was once again praised for her steady MC skills and stage presence.
With their August comeback officially on the horizon, IVE is continuing to gain attention from fans worldwide. Their recent releases 'REBEL HEART' and 'ATTITUDE' earned a total of 15 music show trophies—11 and 4 respectively—and remain strong on Korean music charts.
'2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer', featuring IVE and hosted by An Yu Jin, will be available for replay through scheduled broadcasts. She is also expected to continue her hosting duties in the July 27 (KST) livestream.
