SUPER JUNIOR has set the tone for a powerful 20th-anniversary comeback.
On July 8 KST, the group celebrated the release of their 12th full-length album 'Super Junior 25' with a countdown live broadcast and an online showcase, connecting with fans around the globe in various ways to mark this meaningful day.
During the showcase, SUPER JUNIOR performed the title track “Express Mode” for the first time, as well as B-sides “Haircut” and “Stuck With You.” The event also featured heartfelt interviews with members reflecting on key milestones like their debut, first music show win, and their loyal fandom E.L.F., drawing positive responses from viewers.
The showcase was styled like an award ceremony, celebrating their 20-year journey. It included tributes to iconic songs like “U”—the track that launched their career—and “Sorry, Sorry,” which cemented their global popularity. The broadcast also featured a humorous segment titled “Super Debate,” a balance game-style talk show where members reminisced and competed in friendly banter.
Their 12th album Super Junior 25 achieved impressive chart success, topping the iTunes Top Albums chart in 17 regions including Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. It also hit No.1 on China’s QQ Music and Kugou Music digital album sales charts, Bugs real-time chart, and Hanteo daily chart, proving their enduring global popularity.
Meanwhile, SUPER JUNIOR is scheduled to appear on SBS Power FM’s ‘Cultwo Show’ on July 9, continuing their dynamic comeback promotions with their signature wit and charm.
