Singer and actor Doh Kyung Soo, also known as EXO’s D.O., made an appearance on the latest episode of the cooking variety show ‘Chef & My Fridge’.
Doh Kyung Soo expresses his excitement as he has wanted to guest on ‘Chef & My Fridge’ since 2016. MC Kim Sung Joo also points out that Doh Kyung Soo is the first idol to enlist in the mandatory military service as a military cook. Doh Kyung Soo explains that professional cooking certificates are required to apply to be a military cook, so he prepared for the Korean cuisine certificate exam with his mother, while also spending some quality time together.
Doh Kyung Soo reminisces about his experience, stating that two to four military cooks have to cook three meals for about 180 servings daily. Fellow military cooks present include MC Kim Sung Joo, chef Napoli Matfia (also known as Kwon Seong Jun), and chef Yoon Nam No, who echo his sentiments.
While the chefs are impressed by the details and variety in Doh Kyung Soo’s cooking, MC Kim Sung Joo teases Doh Kyung Soo about him bombarding the show’s writer with photos of the dishes he has made, after initially being shy about it.
Meanwhile, Doh Kyung Soo’s first full album ‘BLISS’, with the title track “SING ALONG!”, is slated for release on July 7, 6 PM (KST).
