Dynamic Duo’s Choiza shared on Radio Star that he once received a staggering 3 billion KRW (approx. 2.2 million USD) offer to promote a restaurant on his YouTube food series 'Choiza Road'—but turned it down.
On the July 9 episode of the MBC variety show, Choiza appeared alongside Heo Young Man, Lee Guk Joo, and Park Eun Young for a special food-themed episode. He revealed that during the early days of Choiza Road, he was approached with a high-paying restaurant promotion deal. Although tempted, he ultimately refused.
Choiza explained his stance: “I’ve never accepted free food. I do accept alcohol or drink sponsorships, but I feel that taking food sponsorships would make the content feel less sincere. It would feel like I’m betraying the pigs,” he joked, referring to his foodie followers.
His comments earned praise from viewers and fellow guests for his authenticity and dedication to honest food reviews.
