Band Catch the Young held a special busking performance on July 6 at Star Square in Sinchon, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their new single "Ideal Type".
The group kicked off the show with "My Own Way", immediately energizing the crowd with their vibrant band sound that perfectly captured the spirit of youth on a summer day.
Reflecting on the moment, Catch the Young shared, “We made our debut here in 2023 with a busking performance. It’s deeply meaningful to return to this place after a year and eight months.” They then continued with a series of performances that brought them closer to the audience.
Throughout the set, the band showcased their signature sound with songs like "Sentimental Journey", "On the Way to See You", "Dream It", and "The Legend". Their tight live band sessions and refreshing vocals created a stage that felt like a full-fledged concert.
The group actively engaged with the crowd, using witty remarks and interactive events like the ‘CATCH THE YOUNG OX Quiz’ to foster a lively atmosphere. Compared to their debut busking performance, the band displayed greater ease and confidence in their communication and stage presence.
Catch the Young highlighted the event with a performance of their new single "Ideal Type". Responding to enthusiastic cheers and encore requests, they wrapped up the event with the encore song "YOUTH!!!", leaving the crowd on a high note.
Looking ahead, CATCH THE YOUNG is set to appear at major rock festivals in the second half of the year, including the ‘2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival’, ‘JUMF 2025 Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival’, and the ‘2025 Sound Planet Festival’, continuing to solidify their presence as a key player in the K-band scene.
