MAMAMOO’s Solar unveils unique “Skant” look in concept photo for Chinese single.
Solar, member of MAMAMOO, showcased a unique “skant” fashion style in her newly released concept photo.
On June 3rd KST, Solar shared the first concept image for her upcoming Chinese single “Floating Free” via social media.
Shot entirely on location in Taipei, the concept photo captures the city’s urban landscape and adds to the visual intrigue.
Solar layered a skirt over pants in a bold “skant” style, emphasizing her free-spirited charm. In another cut, she appeared with intricately braided hair, elevating the hip aesthetic and raising anticipation for her Chinese-language debut.
“Floating Free” marks Solar’s first Chinese single since debut and features a collaboration with 9m88, a leading singer-songwriter from Taipei’s indie music scene. The two are expected to create a powerful synergy.
Solar is set to release “Floating Free” on June 11th at 1 AM KST through various streaming platforms. She will then hold her solo fan concert, ‘Solar FAN CONCERT ‘Floating Free : Between’ in TAIPEI’, on June 22nd in Taipei.
