Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson is set to appear on the popular Korean variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' where she will meet hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho during her visit to Korea in July for the promotion of 'Jurassic World: Rebirth.'
Johansson will be joined by co-stars Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and director Gareth Edwards for the promotional tour, which will take place on July 1. This visit marks the first official press tour in Korea for the 'Jurassic World' series, drawing significant attention from fans.
In the film, Scarlett Johansson plays Zora, a highly skilled special operations agent. She has previously received critical acclaim with Oscar nominations for 'Marriage Story' and 'Jojo Rabbit.' She is also well known in Korea for her role as 'Black Widow' in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This upcoming visit will be her second trip to Korea, following her first in 2017 for the film 'Ghost in the Shell.' On the June 11 broadcast of tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block,' Johansson personally shared the news of her upcoming visit, expressing her excitement and confirming her appearance on the show.
Director Gareth Edwards, who has a special connection with Korean cinema, will also be visiting. His first feature film premiered at the 'Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival,' which opened doors for him to work on major projects like 'Godzilla' and 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.' During his visit, he is expected to express his gratitude to Korean fans.
Jonathan Bailey, who gained worldwide recognition through the series 'Bridgerton' and the upcoming film 'Wicked,' will also be participating in the tour. Rupert Friend, known for his performances in 'Asteroid City' and 'The Phoenician Scheme,' will also be making his first visit to Korea.
