Actor Park Jung Min appears on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block”.
The story of Park Jung Min, who has transitioned from an actor with a talent for words to a publisher with a passion for writing, continues to capture attention. Currently taking a year-long break from acting, Park is running his independent publishing house, Muje, while recharging himself professionally and personally.
Addressing rumors that he is on a sabbatical, Park lightheartedly shared his agency colleague Hwang Jung Min’s reaction, adding a humorous touch. Park also offered a glimpse into his new routine, which has ironically become even busier during his supposed break. His “CEO moments,” including personally handing out his business cards to celebrities like Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, add to the charm of his journey.
The publishing house, which started as a one-man operation, has since grown into a two-person team. Park also shared a lighthearted story about a workplace mishap involving one of his employees and a delayed clock-out, offering another glimpse into his evolving work life.
One particularly touching story involves Park’s motivation for releasing an audiobook version of author Kim Geum Hee’s new novel “First Summer, Wanju.” The decision was inspired by his father, who lost his vision in an accident. Park candidly confessed, “I felt as though I was pitying my father for being blind, and I was ashamed and disgusted with myself.”
In addition, Park shared a story from his high school days, where his exceptional writing skills once helped him avoid punishment. He even provided tips on how to write an effective letter of reflection, captivating viewers with his storytelling abilities.
