On June 11, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook finally officially completed their mandatory military service.
The global idols were discharged, being welcomed by a large number of fans. Although the discharge marked the return of the idols, for some, it marked a long goodbye.
On the same day, a fellow soldier who served alongside Jungkook shared a message along with an unseen photo of the two. In the photo, the two are posing together in front of a mirror, proudly flexing their muscles.
Alongside the photo, the military buddy posted a heartfelt message on Instagram:
“One week? It was a joyful year of military service thanks to you. I’ll be applauding from afar.”
