
On the occasion of the 70th Memorial Day, Super Junior member and actor Choi Siwon visited the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery to honor the fallen patriots and war heroes.
On the morning of June 6th, Choi Siwon shared a photo on his social media showing himself dressed in a black suit while paying respects at the cemetery. Along with the image, he wrote, “Freedom and peace are never something to be taken for granted. The present we enjoy today is a precious time built upon the noble sacrifices of those who dedicated themselves to the country.” His dignified posture and solemn demeanor in the photo left a strong impression on viewers.
The 70th Memorial Day ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, was held at the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery the same day. Approximately 4,000 people, including veterans, their families, government officials, representatives from various sectors, citizens, and students, attended the event to commemorate the sacrifices of the patriots and war heroes.
Meanwhile, Choi Siwon is currently showcasing a new side of himself as the MC of Channel A’s variety program, 'Heart Pairing.'
