The group WINNER will hold a concert without member Song Min Ho.
On May 7th KST, YG Entertainment (hereafter YG) announced through an official statement, “WINNER is scheduled to hold a concert this July, their first in approximately three years and three months.”
YG revealed that the venue had been booked far in advance, but there was much deliberation over whether to go ahead with the event. The agency added, “We decided to proceed with the concert as scheduled, respecting the members’ strong desire to meet their fans.”
The upcoming concert will feature the three members—Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Lee Seung Hoon—excluding Song Minho. YG noted, “This was not an easy decision, and we kindly ask for your warm support and encouragement.”
Meanwhile, WINNER member Song Minho began serving as a social service worker in March 2023 and completed his 1 year and 9 months of service on December 23rd last year. However, just about a week before his discharge, he became embroiled in controversy over alleged poor attendance due to taking sick leave and vacation during his service.
