‘Resident Playbook’ teases appearances of Jo Jung Suk and possibly Jeon Mi Do, stars of ‘Hospital Playlist’

Fans of the ‘Hospital Playlist’ franchise series are excited by the probable appearance of actors Jo Jung Suk and Jeon Mi Do on its latest spinoff, ‘Resident Playbook’.

‘Resident Playbook’ recently released a teaser video featuring Jo Jung Suk’s character, Lee Ik Jun. While obscured, Ik Jun is seen holding hands with a woman, leading to speculations that it is Chae Song Hwa, Jeon Mi Do’s character.

Starring Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho and Kim Dae Myung, the first season of ‘Hospital Playlist’ was released in 2020, and saw an explosive rise in popularity. The second season aired in 2021, with the first episode recording a viewership of over 10% in Korea, setting a record for the cable tv network tvN.

Revolving around first-year OBGYN residents, ‘Resident Playbook’ stars Go Youn Jung, Shin Si Ah, Han Ye Ji, Kang You Seok, and Jung Joon Won. It is currently streaming on Tving and Netflix in select regions.
