On May 6, the veteran actress posted several photos on her personal account with the caption: “Hedda Gabler D-1. Finally meeting you all on stage tomorrow! Thank you to Ji Hyun Joon’s fans for the team hoodie!”

Lee Young Ae will be appearing in Hedda Gabler, running from May 7 to June 7 at the LG Arts Center Seoul in the LG SIGNATURE Hall. The role marks her first return to the stage in 32 years since the 1993 play Jjajangmyeon.
Originally written by Henrik Ibsen, Hedda Gabler explores the psyche of a woman yearning for freedom amid societal constraints and repression.
